    Canon Solutions America Inside Sales Software Solutions Specialists are responsible for prospecting and uncovering net new and current customer opportunities specific to ESS Document Management products, Security Software and possible 3rd Party products.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for prospecting new and current document management opportunity throughout the USA
    • Provides product demonstrations via webinar; Schedules webinars and works closely with NCS and DM team in preparation for product demo
    • Answers customer questions and concerns pertaining to the product
    • Responsible to identify all vertical market document management application and discovery of client pain points
    • Responsible for closing the deal and entering it into SOM (Sales Order Management)
    • Fully involved throughout the entire sales cycle and in the Client SOW (Statement of Work)

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
    • Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 4-6 years relevant business experience 
    • 3+ years experience in Software Solutions Sales
    • Experience with software/ printing /equipment/ electronics sales preferred, but not required
    • Understanding of all sales tools such as Sales Force.com, Oracle, Marketo, and any new software applications
    • Microsoft office proficiency
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
    • Effective time management skills and ability to multitask
    • Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the targeted audience
    • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Aptitude to initiate and prospect outbound calls and qualify leads
    • CDIA+ Certification, Networking experience including WAN/LAN, TCPIP and network administration required
    • Proficient knowledge in document capture with the ability to configure and design workflow processes in conjunction with an overall understanding of basic scripting
