The Canon Solutions America Strategic Pricing Advisor is responsible for overseeing the system functions and process within the Strategic Pricing and Sales Operations group and for identifying and developing system enhancements and process improvements to better support the sales team and the company. The Strategic Pricing Advisor will be working closely with Senior Management, Strategic Pricing, Sales Planning, Doc Review, Incentive Compensation, Marketing, Sales, Order Management, Contracts and Inventory departments.

    • Review and document potential areas for automation within the Strategic Pricing and Sales Operations team
    • Gather input from Sales and Administration on key area of improvements for such applications as SOM, Bid Registration, and SalesForce. Prepares recommendations and present to Senior Management
    • Assist and support other departments with questions regarding strategic pricing
    • Maintain Service Price book
    • Review and approve commission worksheet on unique requests
    • Review and approve Maintenance Agreement on unique requests
    • Provide service pricing for Federal & GMD account deviation requests
    • Review all sales orders to verify that the correct service pricing is being used
    • Report and track SRT process
    • Manage the Oracle Price List process for customer pricing
    • Collaborate in system integration and enhancements
    • Direct the SOM testing of new process and enhancements for Strategic Pricing
    • Maintain current documentation of all department related processes


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 
    • 7 - 9 years relevant business experience
    • Experience with Excel, Word, Powerpoint is required
    • Experience with databases and Oracle systems is a plus
    • Extended hours are required at month end to ensure all sales orders are approved
    • Extended hours may also be required on an as needed basis when new products are being launched or to complete projects that are deadline driven
