As a Field Service Technician you will play a key role in the satisfaction of many loyal customers, which includes large companies and government offices as well as small to medium-sized businesses. Our Technicians are responsible for on-site service of Canon's networked digital imaging products with the focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, tracking and repairing the products. Working within a designated geographic territory, you'll be dispatched to various job assignments depending on the product and experience level. You'll be trained to make the necessary mechanical or electrical repairs as well as provide prevention maintenance on all machines serviced.
Field Service Technician Duties:
*New technicians participate in Canon's 6 week comprehensive training program known as Printing & Digital Imaging Foundations, you will learn the fundamentals of the electrical and mechanical systems that are integral to the office automation process, in addition to learning troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-going training and technical certification are conducted on a regular basis throughout your career as a technician.
