Canon Solutions America's Document Management Analysts are responsible for consulting to sales teams and customers in design and implementation of complex Document Management solutions. Provide technical support in sales presentations, customer trainings, and the delivery of Professional Services.     Responsibilities include:

    • Visit customers for meetings, surveys, and inspections
    • Meet with customer IT staff as technical advisor 
    • Assist with RFP responses; participates in the preparation of large, high value sales proposals 
    • Ensure configurations are complete and accurate
    • Perform cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of already developed software or custom designed components
    • Generate products such as sketches, models, network maps, an early user guide, and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving
    • Generate a set of acceptance test requirements, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user to determine all requirements are met
    • Train customers on all products, through the use of Professional Services, not covered by Product Training


    • Bachelors degree or equivalent required
    • 3-5 years relevant business experience relating to printing pre-sales/post-sales
    • Must understand complex document management systems such as Application Xtender, Kofax, IRIS and Therefore.

    • Certifications and Licenses: CDIA+ Certification, Networking experience including WAN/LAN, TCPIP and network administration required. Proficient knowledge in document capture with the ability to configure and design workflow processes in conjunction with an overall understanding of basic scripting.
    • Extensive travel may be required, up to 90% with frequent overnight stays
    • Valid drivers' license and acceptable driving record necesary
    • Certain minimum auto insurance coverages are required
