  • Overview

    The service analyst is accountable for providing analytical support to/for the various levels of service management. Supportive management documentation will focus on the following areas of Canon Solutions America efforts to ensure future growth and market competitiveness; customer machine performance reporting (both external and internal), technician KPI performance and divisional financial analysis. This position will also be the key analyst for specified major account reporting.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize Oracle to compile necessary documentation for management evaluation of new service marketing promotions, product and technician performance measurement and improved data integrity procedures.
    • Develop / maintain a consolidated Service Reporting Package consisting of available Oracle and Service Portal information for both customer and internal service management requirements.
    • Provide comprehensive customer reports for all assigned Canon Solutions America accounts.
    • Be the main point of contact for all large / major customer account reporting nationally.
    • Utilize Hyperion to create, maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate financial reports as required
    • Provide monthly performance reporting to the field as requested.
    • Run Ad- Hoc reports using the various Oracle databases to produce requested reports
    • Work with Oracle support to improve all levels of service reporting and measurements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Requirements: The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Organizational skills are important, as well as a high degree of proficiency on PC based computers utilizing various spreadsheet and relational database applications
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business / information systems or equivalent
    • Experience: Two to four years of service industry experience. Candidate should possess strong knowledge on state-of-the-art spreadsheet and relational database software applications.
    • Special Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Oracle capabilities and features.
